Pilot training

Training to obtain the Swiss Paragliding Licence (Paragliding Brevet):

Basic course (4-5 days)

On the training hill you will learn the basic flying skills within 4-5 days. You will be able to perform smaller flights from day one.
Once you learned take-off preparation, take-off, flight and landing safely, it is time for your first high altitude flight.

High-altitude flights: (minimum 50 flights supervised by a flight instructor)

Depending on the weather conditions you will perform up to 5 flights on one training day. You will be supervised by a flight instructor via radio. Hike&Fly is already an integral part of your training and we regularly make Hike&Fly tours also during your training.

Theory lessons

Your well-founded training also includes a theoretical part that prepares you for your flying career and the theoretical examination. The theory is divided into the following subjects:

Aerodynamic, Meteorology, Legislation, Material science and Flight practice

To prove your acquired knowledge you have to pass a theory and a practical exam. The Swiss Hang Gliding Association (SHV) organizes the corresponding examination dates.

We offer basic training / trial day on request
