As Davos pilots, we know our flying areas like no one else.

In our pilots, quality comes before quantity. As Davos pilots, we know our flying area like the back of our hand and have already completed well over 15,000 flights together. We love sharing our passion for flying with you during a tandem flight or as part of your flight training.

The Air-Davos Paragliding Team includes, among others, full-time flight instructors, pilots with more than 30 years of flying experience, mountain guides and professional alpinists, as well as the former winner of the Swiss Cross-Country Flying Contest.

Martin has been flying since 2004 and is a flight instructor, tandem instructor, and SHV-certified rescue parachute packer.

His flying adventures have taken him around the world, with approximately 5,500 flights in South Africa, Namibia, Hawaii, the USA, Switzerland, Italy, France, Germany, Turkey, and Greece. Among his most impressive experiences is flying over Kilimanjaro and Elbrus.

When it’s too windy to fly, you can find Martin kitesurfing on Lake Silvaplana.

Fabio Profumo

Fabio has been flying since the early 1990s and is a former competition pilot. His achievements include winning the Swiss championship title in cross-country flying (1998). He has won the annual target landing competition (Linocup) in Davos countless times.

In his free time, Fabio is an enthusiastic cross-country pilot.

Jan Caspar

Born in 1987 at Davos Hospital, Jan inherited the flying genes from his delta-flying father. From early childhood, he could be found on the training hill. Jan is also a mountain guide and enjoys combining his passion for mountaineering and flying during challenging hike & flys. The Engadin mountain world around Piz Palü, Biancograt, and Piz Bernina is his specialty. Jan is often there with guests on climb & flys.

Roger Meisser

Roger started paragliding back in 1989 and has become a well-known figure in the skies above Davos. When he’s not soaring high over Davos, he often participates in sledding competitions across Switzerland during the winter or trains at Rinerhorn. Among his achievements in sledding, he earned the title of Swiss champion.

Philipp Kuhn

Philipp is a passionate tandem pilot with South African roots and has a deep love for the mountains. In his free time, he explores the mountains with his girlfriend Sandra on challenging tandem hike & fly tours or embarks on extended tandem bivouac cross-country flying adventures. Philipp is currently training to become a paragliding instructor to share his enthusiasm for flying and nature with others.

Martin is a passionate tandem pilot who spends every free minute in the air. He especially enjoys combining flying with mountain adventures (Hike and Fly), exploring remote places where hardly anyone else flies. In addition to his passion for Hike and Fly, he is also an avid cross-country pilot and is fascinated by freestyle flying. Martin is currently training to become a flight instructor to share his knowledge and enthusiasm for flying with others.

Roger is an internationally recognized Swiss professional alpinist, renowned for his outstanding achievements in climbing and mountaineering. He has long discovered his passion for paragliding, with a highlight of his paragliding career being his flight from the summit of Cerro Torre in Patagonia.
